Words of wisdom..

*My best friend wrote this to me in her blog and Im reposting it in attempts to let it sink into my head. Love you Elizabeth, thank you for being there when everybody else left. <3*

Ashton,

I love what you are, and what you do and how you try. I've seen your kindness and your strength that carries you through. I've seen the best of you. I've seen the worst of you. And I understand with perfect clarity exactly what you are. And I love you. Life is too short to wake up in the morning with regrets,

so love the people who treat you right and forget the ones that don't, and believe that everything happens for a reason. If you get a chance, take it. If it changes your life, let it. Nobody said that it would be easy, they just promised it would be worth it. Ya know, we hold onto things for so long because we’re scared something so great won’t happen twice.Sometimes you have to be strong for yourself. You have to know that you're a good person and a good friend. What's meant to be will end up good and what's not-won't. Love is worth fighting for but sometimes you can't be the only one fighting. At times, people need to fight for you. If they don't, you just have to move on and realize what you gave them was more than they were willing to give you. Hopefully, people realize great things when they come around and don't lose something real. Always fight, until you can't anymore, and then be fought for. 

Whenever that guy comes, that feels right, quit cheating yourself out of the best thing that could ever happen to you, quit cheating him out of what he's wanted for so long, and just fall. Fall hard, fall long, and fall forever.

If I don't say it enough..

I know friendship is important and I care about you all so much. I know I don't always let you know.  For what I don't express enough, "This is it!":

enc & smg: "You're brave and your beautiful. So hold your head high, dont ever let them defy that light in your eyes. Love yourself, give 'em hell. You two are my best friends and I dont know what I would do without the two of you. I can be myself and be silly and crazy. I can vent and rant and throw my fits and cry and raid your pantry and not feel bad at all when I want to sing loud or eat a brownie loaf at 2 am. I can watch cartoon movies till the wee hours of the morning, get a little tipsy in public and you still let me crash on your couch. We've bonded in the strangest ways and we're probably a little closer than we should be but that is OK!! I love you both.

ama & mes: "When the night time comes around and your feelin' like an only child just know; I'll be there for you. And I'd walk through hell and high water, wash away with the tide. I could lose a damn war all by myself if you were on the other side. So in the mornin' when the rooster crows pack your bags and get ready to go. If your walkin' through hell and high water, please dont do it alone."
My baby cousins, I'm so proud of you both. The three of us have that weird connection that makes us inseparable. When the world turns its back on us, we turn our back on da world! (~Timon and Pumba) All for one and one for all. <3 all my love.

Schnookums, I'm so proud of you. No matter where you are, you'll always have a place in my heart. Get out there, kick ass and come home. We've got mud puddles to play in. ;)

I thank God for you every day. You have no idea how much you help me and inspire me. I know how strong I am when I see the strength in you. We're going through hell right now but between you, me and God, we got this. <3

I want to be that girl...

I want to be everything.. everything you ever wanted, everything you need.. the hand that your holding when your on your knees and praying, the answer to your prayers and the song that your playing. 
If I could only be that girl that made you think about what it is, that "something bout a woman, yea, some kind of sweet little somethin' that I may never understand. Yea some kind of gift they're given makes this life worth living that makes a man a man. Oh, I'm nothing without that something about a woman.."


"She was playin' Cinderella, riding her first bike, bouncing on the bed looking for a pillow fight, running through the sprinkler with a big Popsicle grin, dancing with her dad lookin' up at him. In her eyes I'm just Prince Charming but to him I'm just some fella' ridin in stealing Cinderella."



They read me Cinderella.. I hoped it would come true, that one day my Prince Charming would come rescue me. I want to be the girl that you could love like that.
